Prepare Custom Files Overview
Our printing process begins with your ready-to-print Acrobat PDF file. Please review our PDF Instructions for how to properly prepare a high-quality file. Layouts for specific products are available in our Template Guides which are located with each product.
Ensure 0.125″ (1/8”) total bleed on all pages, and keep all important type and images within the safe margin (0.0625″ from the cut line).
Large format Signs or Banners do not need to have a bleed.
Download a template to ensure the specifications for a particular product are properly followed
If at all possible, try to avoid borders. If the border is too close to the cutline, the print may result in being cut off-center slightly.
All pages in your file should have head-to-head orientation to ensure proper backing.
All images must be CMYK at 300 dpi.
Embed or create outlines of all fonts in your document. Any black text should be 100K (C0, M0, Y0, K100)
Comprehensive guides to file preparation are listed in the right sidebar
